Sculpting details Into rope necklace

- [Instructor] In this lesson I'd like to demonstrate how to create a rope sculpt working from the original z-spheres that we started with earlier in our course. I'm going to isolate the band around the neck. And the first thing I want to do is increase up my geometry. Now, this is going to be more of a brute force attempt at the rope. It's something that I would typically use in a project when I just need to create a very small piece of rope quickly without going through the process of using the insert brush. So first thing I wanna do here is divide up and make sure I have at least a good geometry to work from. Because of the topology that we started with which was high already, a level three will actually work for this. I'll switch over to my clay tubes again with the square alpha. And I'll bring my brush size down. Now you'll notice I have x symmetry turned on, which can work, the problem is if I'm sculpting, rope has a tendency to follow in a specific direction and if I use the x…
