- [Instructor] Okay, I'm going to combine tasks that we covered in two previous videos in one quick demonstration for making a open/close switch on the side of the body. All right, so what I want to do is start out by stealing an object that I already made from the first switch, the retraction groove. So let's select that and duplicate it. And now I will go into my gizmo, and let's just move this down, and I'm going to rotate it 90 degrees. And let's also rotate it so that it's sort of in line with this angle here. Bring it more to the side. And I think it probably shouldn't be this long either, so I'll shorten it up a little bit. And let's bring it over here, and let's give this the subtraction Boolean mode. Okay, looks pretty good. Give that the right depth, there. Now to make the button, I'm just going to duplicate this one, and then we'll just make this one shorter.
