Stroke type and alphas for texture detailing
- [Instructor] After we have established the color palette and we're generally happy with the direction we're going with, we can concentrate on refining the texture and add some color variations using the different stroke types and the alphas. Let's go ahead and with the paint brush selector, choose the color spray brush from the stroke palette. And let's go ahead and draw some lines so you can see the effect. So this stroke type is basically taking the selected color and is generating some random variants in hue saturation and brightness. And all this is happening while we do the painting. So this tool is actually a great way to produce subtle changes in the poly-paint. Alright, let me just undo all that, and let's go ahead and introduce the alpha. So let's click on the alpha thumbnail, and something like alpha zero eight could work nicely. Alright let's try to draw that again.
