- [Instructor] Whether 2D or 3D any software that uses brushes has a variety of settings to control how the brushes work and Zbrush is no different. So let's take a look. So I've got my regular standard brush active and as you can see it's just creating a basic stroke on the surface. But there's some different stroke types that we can create. Let's take a look at the most basic controls for the brush. Probably the draw size. So with this we can just simply drag and pick how large we want this brush to be. So small affect or a large effect. You can also change the intensity for a stronger effect. And focal shift is interesting. As we slide this you'll notice there's an outer red circle and an inner red circle. And if the inner red circle is closer to the outer red circle that means there's going to be a sharper border between the brush and what is not affected by the brush.
