Using DynaMesh to soften hard edges

- Live Brilliance took us most of the way to the finish line; however, there is one thing that they're not very good at. Notice how all of the edges created by Brilliance are perfectly sharp. In the real world, most edges have at least a little bit of roundness to them, which allows highlights to catch on them. As they are now, they'll never catch the light and they'll always look fake. In this video, I'll show you how to soften the edges. Okay, let's do this on one of the body pieces. Let's come around here to the side that has the text on it. And I'm going to Alt click on it to make it the active sub tool. And let's go ahead and zoom in a little bit so we can see what sort of effect this is going to have more clearly. Now, let's come down to geometry. And let's go to dynamesh. And let's just go ahead and click this without looking at any of the settings, just to see what happens. So, what it does, is it voxilizes the entire mesh. Let me turn on poly frame to show you what I mean…
