Using Insert Mesh brushes

- There are a lot of times when you want to add an object to your scene, but you don't just want to make it all by itself. You want it to be attached to the surface of another object. This is where insert mesh brushes come in. They're technically a kind of brush, but it's really a way of creating new objects within existing sub tools. Let's see how it works. Okay, so we have our exercise file open. And let's say we want to add some sort of spikes on the surface for example. Let's hit b to bring up our brushes. Now, the insert mesh brushes are any of these that begin with IMM. And that stands for Insert Multi Mesh, actually. So let's go ahead and click on IMM basic. Now, the second M in IMM stands for multi, which means that these brushes contain multiple different models that you can add to your sub tool.
