Using Symmetry

- [Instructor] One of the most common things you'll need to control in Zbrush is symmetry. Unlike real world sculpting, you can have your work automatically mirrored from one side to the other. There's several ways to control it. So, lets take a deeper look. We've got our model, here, and we've got the Standard Brush active. Now, let's say we want to sculpt some muscle detail, here, on the arm. You'll notice that this is only affecting one arm not the other, and that's because we don't have Symmetry Mode active right now. So, let's hit Ctrl+Z to undo that, and hit X to turn on Symmetry. Now, you'll notice there are two cursors. There's one with the big circle around it, which shows, which one is the cursor that we're actually controlling with our stylus or mouse, and then, the other little dot on the other side. which shows us where that's going to affect on the other side.
