Using a brush without back and forth

- [Instructor] When sculpting, it's common to build up volume with quick, sketchy, back-and-forth strokes. However, this can create some unwanted buildup at the ends of the strokes and results in hatching lines that zigzag rather than laying parallel. So, ZBrush 2020 added a new feature called No Back & Forth, and it fixes it, so let me demonstrate. Okay, let's switch to a brush where this is going to be easier to see, and hit B to bring up my brushes. And let's click ClayBuildup. Okay, so by default, without using this new feature, if you want to build up some volume, just kind of scratch it out, and this is fine, and it's works okay. However, you notice that these different overlapping strokes kind of create a zigzag pattern, and it's not always the best look that you want to have for your model as you're building up this detail or this form anyway.
