Using the exercise files

- [Voiceover] If you're a premium member of the lynda.com online training library, you have access to the exercise files used throughout this weekly series. Those exercise files can be found in the Exercise Files folder, and they're going to be organized by month and week of release. So, for example, if you're viewing the first one in May, you'd open up the 01_01 folder and then work from the bull.ZTL file. Most of the exercise files are for premium members only, however, I have occasionally provided some of my own ZBrush files, brushes, and textures, for anyone to download for free. If you are watching on a mobile device, a set-top device, or don't have access to the exercise files, that's okay, you can just follow along from scratch or use your own assets. Now, ZBrush is a little bit quirky, so there's an interesting way that you have to open up these exercise files, so that they work alright. When you first start ZBrush, you're going to want to navigate to the Project folder. In a couple weeks, we're actually going to be creating a custom, default project that you should open up every time, which is this one right here. However, before we get to that point, if you don't have that file, you can just double click on Default Sphere, and then you would want to go to Tool, Load Tool, navigate to the exercise files, find the month and week that you're working with, and then open up that ZTL file. One thing to make note of is that on your computer, ZBrush might not open up all of these files in the same orientation that you're seeing on my videos. So, for example, I might be showing the bull like this, but it might open on your screen like this. All you have to do is rotate your view until it lines up, more or less, with what you're seeing in my video. Okay, now that we have that out of the way, let's continue onward with this weekly series.
