Visualizing wall thickness

- When creating models for 3D printing, it's important to make sure that its various shapes and structures are thick enough to not break. The minimum thickness depends on several factors like the type of printer, or the length of a structure, or how much weight a thin area might have to hold. ZBrush now lets you visualize the thickness of every point on the surface. So let's see how it works. Now before using the visualizer, you should know the size of your model. You should know that it's the correct size for the units that you're printing out. Now there's lots of ways to deal with scale in ZBrush, and it's a big topic beyond the scope of this video. But let's say we've got the scale worked out for this model. For example, in here under Size, under Geometry, I have a height of 43 and I know that my units are millimeters.
