From the course: Sculpting a Scarecrow in ZBrush

Welcome

- [Michael] Hi, everyone, this is Michael Ingrassia, and I'd like to introduce you to my new ZBrush course, the Halloween Scarecrow. I'm really happy the way this course turned out, and I think you will be too. It's really fun and informative. I'm going to take you through the entire process, working from the original concept art that I'll provide you with, and then I'll also provide you with a low poly base mesh that we'll begin sculpting in ZBrush. Now, once in ZBrush, I'll show you step-by-step how to begin massing out each of the subtools and then further detailing each of them until we'll end up with this highly detailed sculpt. Once our sculpt is complete, I'll demonstrate my easy dark to light poly painting technique, and finally I'll show you a very easy and effective way to render layer maps using ZBrush's VPR rendering. We'll end up with this beautifully rendered portfolio piece in the end. So we have a lot to cover. Let's get started.
