- [Instructor] ZBrush is a great tool to create assets for film or t.v. You want to create a creature or a character for these mediums, and ZBrush definitely delivers as it is great for creating detail meshes. Just look at the details on the official ZBrush page on the web, and it provides many reasons to include ZBrush in your workflow. But would a workflow of building assets for movies look like? The asset is first created in a DCC or ZBrush, and in most cases, we don't worry too much about topology in the creation process. Then the asset is taken to a DCC or other tools to retopologize. ZBrush does include a few tools to properly retopologize the mesh but aren't ideal for this purpose. For example, you'll use Quadra in Maya to retopologize the mesh properly.
