Designing a waist
Okay so as we continue to experiment with different designs, let's look at the waist now. I want to do something that gives some flexibility to this region. Right now it's just kind of one solid chunk, so let's come in here and make a new layer. And I'm going to call this one waist. So I want to design something that gives some flexibility. So let's break it down into several different sections. So for this I am going to use the DAM standard. Now hit b, d, s. Now let's shrink the size of the brush a little bit. And let's just play with different ways that we could cut this into sections. So we've already kind of got a sense of a rib cage down here but let's just finish this off. Let's try to carve in different seams or creases where this might take place. And this is just for experimenting, just for designing, this isn't what the final result is going to look like by any means. But it's just to get a sense of what we might want to do when we do finally start to make the really precise…
