Opening and saving tools
Now that we've looked at the difference between projects and tools, and why I prefer to work in tools, let's take a closer look at how to open and save your models in the tool format. Let's start with a fresh ZBrush scene. So, if you already had ZBrush open from the last movie, go ahead and close it, and start it up again. Now instead of opening up a tool through the Light Box, let's hit comma to make Light Box go away. And load tool through the palette on the right hand side of the screen. Let's click Load Tool, so by default, ZBrush wants to open a tool within it's own program files. In the applications folders. So you can see here on the Windows computer we're in program files X86 pixel logic ZBrush, and the tools folder. On the Mac you'd go the applications folder and then the pixel logic folder.
