Adding fire alarm devices
- [Voiceover] Look at a fire alarm plan as an electrical plan. That's basically what it is. The only difference is the voltage. All that means is we need different panels to use in our model. That begin said, we're going to add some smoke detectors to our ceiling and some pull stations to the walls. Light a fire alarm panel, then we can circuit away. To get started, let's make sure we're in Electrical, Fire Alarm, Ceiling Plans, 1-Ceiling Fire Alarm. Let's zoom on this room up here. On the Insert tab, let's click the Load Family button. Let's go to Electrical, MEP, Information and Communication, Fire Alarm. Now let's grab some stuff. First thing that I want to do is grab a Fire Alarm Control Panel. That's going to be useful. Next let's grab a Fire Alarm Horn Strobe-Ceiling Mounted. Let's keep scrolling down. Let's grab a Manual Pull Station. Let's scroll down a little bit further, and let's grab a Smoke Detector. Let's click Open. On the Systems tab, let's click the Device drop-down…
