Adding named views

- [Instructor] Adding a named view inside of SOLIDWORKS is a pretty simple process but it does require going back and forth between your SOLIDWORKS assembly or part and the SOLIDWORKS drawing that you want to insert the view into. So I'm going to start by opening up this disk part right here. Now, I can orient this any way I want, so I'm just going to look at the backside and maybe turn it a little bit here, give me an opposite angle, isometric kind of view. So using your zoom and pan tool, so I'm just scrolling my mouse button up and down but you can also use all of the view buttons up top to set the right orientation. Once you've done that, I'm going to hit the space bar which is the hotkey for your orientation window and if you go up here, you're going to see the Add New View icon. So when I click on that, it gives me a location to put in the view name, so I'm going to put opposite iso for this. I'm going to click…
