Adding panels
- [Voiceover] Adding a power supply in Revit is one of the most basic but essential functions you'll do. Without a panel, we won't be able to add a circuit, home runs, or show a panel schedule. Let's go ahead and place a panel. Once it's in the model, we can then add a distribution system, name, and schedule to that panel. The first thing to do is go to the Systems tab. Let's click on Electrical Equipment. Notice that we have several panels in our model already. Let's go ahead and find another one, though. On the Mode panel, click on Load Family. This will open up the Load Family dialog. Let's go to Electrical, MEP, Electrical Power, Distribution. Let's select Lighting and Appliance Panelboard 208V Surface and click Open. Pan down until we get to this room right here. Let's go ahead and just pick a spot anywhere along this wall. Once we've picked a spot, hit escape a couple times. Now that the panel's in, let's give it a name and a distribution. The first thing we'll do is select the…
