- [Voiceover] Since fire protection involves fire departments, let's take a moment to add some specialty equipment to allow emergency responders access to our water without cracking open a hydrant. We're going to load in a fire department inlet connection which is actually considered mechanical equipment. Then we'll branch over to it from our main trunk line. To get started, let's make sure that we're in sprinkler, floor plan, one sprinkler. Let's zoom in on our mechanical room. Go ahead and click on Mechanical Equipment. Click on load family. Let's go to fire protection. Let's go to connections. Let's stretch out our area here. Let's go to fire department inlet connection 3-way flush plate. Let's click open. Since this is a hosted family, we need to host it to the outside of this wall. I'm going to go ahead and put it on this wall, right about here. And we'll hit escape a couple times.
