Adding switches
- [Voiceover] I guess we need to turn the lights on somehow. In this short video, we'll look at mounting a switch to a wall. We'll also look at the different type of switching symbols that can be used, and we'll add the switch to a circuit. Similar to adding receptacles, we're gonna throw a switch in our reflected ceiling plan. To get started, make sure you're in Electrical, Lighting, Ceiling Plans, Level 1. Let's zoom in on this corner room right here. On the systems tab, under device, click the dropdown. Let's make sure we come down and find Lighting. Now, what we'll notice is we have quite a few different types of lighting switches. Let's zoom in near this door right here, and one thing we should notice is the fact that it doesn't quite show up the way we'd want it. That's because of the fact that our detail level is set for fine. Let's change our detail level to coarse. Now, let's hover over that same exact wall. Notice now that we can see the symbology, not the actual switch…
