Asset recovery

- There's a phrase that applies to asset recovery, waste not, want not. And unlike other areas of boosting profitability, it does not involve negotiating with vendors, cutting costs, or cutting people. Asset recovery is about getting more value out of the assets you already have. It's about boosting productivity to help boost profitability. There's a three-part process to asset recovery. First phase is asset identification. When you identify targets across your organization that aren't being used to their best ability and highest value. Second is asset redeployment and repurposing, where you take assets that aren't being used to their maximum potential and use them for something else. And third, there's asset disposition and divestiture, where you get rid of assets that aren't bringing you any value. Asset recovery is a process that can reveal tremendous, hidden value.
