Beginning your data analysis journey
- [Robin] If there's one buzz word that people say more than any other, it's data. But once you have it, what do you do with it? That's where data analysis comes in. The ability to take raw data and turn it into meaningful insights is the new super power. And the demand is skyrocketing. In this course, we'll start digging into data analysis. We'll talk about the roles and skills needed for data analysts. You'll learn to identify data, deal with data you don't have, and work with data of different types. You'll learn about joins and techniques to clean and transform data and the truth about data. We'll also talk about some best practices as well as productivity enhancing shortcuts for data tools you may work with already or never knew you had access to. There are more data jobs than we can fill and all of them require some degree of data analysis skills. Where you take these skills is really up to you.
