- From time to time here at the Practicing Photographer, I like to touch on what could be called for want of a better term, the mental game of photography. And I'm not talking about the mental process of trying to understand reciprocity and exposure theory and all that kind of stuff. I'm talking about the mental game of keeping your mojo going, keeping your confidence up, keeping your sense of purpose as a photographer. And today, I want to talk about something that I don't hear a lot of people talking about, but it's something that plagues me and it's something that I see students falling into, though they get afraid to mention it. I'm talking about boredom, becoming bored with photography. It actually happens to me.
