Changing ISO

- Let's explore ISO a little bit more deeply. This is a very important adjustment because it modifies how your camera behaves. Essentially ISO is the sensitivity of your camera sensor. As you increase ISO, you can use faster shutter speeds, or you can use smaller apertures. The shutter speed is how long the camera shutter stays open. So this will allow you to take sharper photos with less camera shake. By changing the aperture, it also means that more of the shot could be in focus. This is a very typical adjustment you'll make when shooting in lower light conditions, or when you're shooting on studio settings with really dark backdrops. The ability to boost the ISO will let you dial in, the type of shot you want. The only drawback to remember is that higher ISOs can lead to noise in your image, although cameras keep getting better with this.
