It's tough to stay connected with your team, but it's not impossible. Here are a few tools that I've used, even when team members are in different time zones. Always opt for a video call whenever possible. There's something about seeing another person that makes a meeting more productive and actionable. Plus, you build relationships that way. Remember, using video can be exhausting, so shoot for shorter meetings to conserve your energy. If you can't do a live video call, the next best thing is to record a video message. This is a great way to introduce yourself to a new team member or a client and it adds a personal touch. Plus, sometimes it can be easier to explain something that way.
