Comparing DSLR and mirrorless cameras
- Much of the coverage you'll see about professional cameras and semi-professional cameras is going to be discussing DSLRs. Since mirrorless cameras are a little bit different, let's make some comparisons here between the DSLR and a mirrorless. Now, mirrorless can go by many names. You may hear it referred to as mirrorless or micro four thirds and they do have a lot in common with DSLRs. And in many ways, it's really an evolution or the next generation type of camera technology. I do think it's important though that you understand how these cameras are similar and how they're different. One thing you'll often see is size. Now, these two cameras are not substantially different, but if you look closely at them and you lift them, you'll notice that the bodies are a bit different.
