Correcting lens issues with Premiere Pro

- In Premiere Pro, it's possible to compensate for lens distortion. The controls aren't as advanced as Photoshop, but they do get the job done in many cases. If you take a look at this footage here, you're going to really see the problem. Let's make this a bit bigger. Look at the shot on the right. And as we pan, you can see how the curvature of the lens is making it look like an earthquake, like the floor is bending. That's because, as we pan, the curved area is moving across the surface, and it's very distracting here. Even on regular shots, here's a standard lens and then the wide-angle lens, you can see how the TV and the boxes are suddenly curved. Well, let's fix this. I'll start with the simpler shot here and just go over to the Effects panel, and I'll type in the word lens. And you'll see that there are a series of presets here for lens distortion removal. These are typically designed for GoPros and drones.…
