(horn blows) (upbeat didgeridoo music) - Woo! - This week on The Practicing Photographer, I'm sitting here with Stephen Kent, who has an incredible facility to blow through a hollow log. Stephen that was great. - Oh thank you. - As always, amazing. So tell us about this hollow log. - Well this is a didgeridoo. That's the common name for it. It comes from aboriginal Australia, and it's been adopted gradually over the last 50 or so years by a lot of Westerners like myself, who have been focused on this instrument in all kinds of non-traditional ways. - You've integrated this into a lot of other musical forms and traditions, and I know it's been a real point of yours to maintain that link to aboriginal culture and the issues that they face. - Yeah. It seems to me, as somebody who began to play this instrument in the early 1980's, at a time when it wasn't widely known, I needed to go and get permission…
