- [Instructor] I made this pan shot of Trashana by using a slow shutter speed and rotating as she ran by. For this one I used a fast shutter speed to stop the action. I'll add motion by using Photoshop's path blur filter. Duplicate the layer and name it blur. Navigate to filter, blur gallery, and select path blur. A path is automatically set in the image. The arrow points in the direction the blur will go. As you can see the blur is going in front of her face. This would cause problems when we blended the two layers. Watch how the direction of the blur changes as you pull the pin around. But there's still blur in front of her. To fix that, change basic blur to reach sync flash. This also unchecks the center blur. Adjust the speed. The higher the percentage, the longer the streaks. With an in camera pan, the streaks would gradually lessen towards the end. The taper slider does this so move it until you like the look. End…
