- [Instructor] In this movie, I'm going to be showing you how to create your own block and then actually use it to create a part. So here's the scenario. First things first is I've already created this sketch and you can see there's quite a bit of detail in the sketch. If you zoom in here, I've got a whole bunch of dimensions. I got some center lines creating this cutout. Now this cutout is for a motherboard on a computer chassis. Now if you want to use this same cutout multiple times, it would be great to be able to save this as a block and then use it throughout your design. Alright, so because I already have this sketch pretty much done, let's go ahead and just wrap this whole thing up and turn it into a block. To do that, go over here and select the entire sketch.
