Creating blurs
- [Instructor] One of the best things about vector graphics are those sharp, crisp edges that look the same at any output size. But you can also create some interesting looks by blurring objects, so let's see how to do that. There are a few different places in Inkscape to apply blurs to objects. One is to use the tweak tool, and select this last option here, and then drag over the objects that you want to blur. And I show that in the movie on the tweak tool. Another way of blurring is to apply filters to selected objects, and if you go to the filters menu and select blurs, you can see there's a whole menu full of blur choices here. But the simplest way to apply a blur is to select an object, then go to the fill and stroke dialogue, and right here is a blur slider. So you can drag the slider, or enter in a specific value here.
