Creating dimension with lights

- [Instructor] One of the beautiful things about working with layers positioned in three-dimensional space is the fact that you can add lights into the scene to add a whole new sense of dimension. So if we look in our timeline here, you'll notice these layers exist in three-dimensional space. They all have 3D enabled. If I want to see where those layers are positioned, I'll go to the bottom middle section of the composition panel and click on the Active Camera dropdown, and I'll choose Custom View 1. And you can see, yep, these are definitely positioned in 3D space. Let's change that view back to the active camera, and go up under Layer and choose New Light to add a light to the project. Now, your light settings will probably be different than mine, because each time you create a light it will remember the last light settings you used. So don't worry, we'll go from the top down. Let's start with Light Type. I'll click on the dropdown, and you'll notice there are four different kinds…
