- [Instructor] Before we go too far into searching and selecting items, it's important to know how to create a new estimate so we have a place to put those items. Let's go to the Manage Estimates tab up here on the left hand. Click on it. You'll see the screen that I'm on now. You can click on the Create New Estimate button. You can put in the name, the client if you want, the folder you wanna keep it in. If you wanna put the address and the city and the province, you could do that. I'll go ahead and do that. Fictitious address. Now you'll see my typical cost preferences are already selected down here. I'm gonna change my location because this fictitious place is in Massachusetts. Maybe it's near Lawrence, Massachusetts. I'm gonna save and continue. Okay. Now what's happened is I'm still in the Manage Estimates tab but you see the search dialog and the item list on the right hand side.
