Creating a fire alarm circuit

- [Voiceover] Let's create a fire alarm view. The first thing we're going to need to do is duplicate some ceiling plan. It could be the ceiling mech plan that we'll use. What we're going to do is go to Visibility Graphics, and turn off everything we don't need. We're going to set our view range so we can see a little further down on the walls. To get started, let's go to Ceiling Plans, 1 Ceiling Mech, right-click, Duplicate View, and let's just duplicate. Let's right-click on Copy of 1 Ceiling Mech, and rename it. We'll call it Ceiling Fire Alarm. Let's hit OK. In the Properties, let's scroll down and make sure that our Discipline is set for Electrical. Let's make sure that our Sub-Discipline is set for Fire Alarm. Click Apply. Type in V + G. Let's get rid of air terminals. Cable trays are gone. Let's keep scrolling down. Anything duct-related has to go. Fire Alarm Devices obviously have to be turned on. Flex Ducts and Flex Pipes need to go. Let's make sure Electrical Equipment is…
