Creating an intentional workspace

(upbeat music) - As you're designing the ideal workspace, think through what you need the space to do for you. I want you to make a list. I can't help myself, I'm obsessed with lists. Write out all the tasks you do throughout the day. It could be things like write emails, or if you conduct video meetings, write that down, too, because you'll also need to think about your lighting and your background. You want to be professional, even when working from home. Maybe you spend your time researching potential clients, or listening to podcasts. Where are you going to store your headphones for regular use in your new office? Perhaps you design websites or write blogs. And on and on and on. You know what you do throughout the day. Write it all down. Now, take this list and really think about where you're most inspired to do that work. But here's the caveat. I realize that you might not always have much say over the space…
