Creating stars and polygons

- [Instructor] Let's check out Inkscape's tool for creating and modifying stars and polygons. To get the star tool, you can click it in the toolbox, or press the shortcut, Shift + 8, which is also the asterisk, which kind of looks like a star, so it's easy to remember. Then you need to decide whether you want to draw a star, or a polygon, and click the button for the one that you want up here in the tool controls. I'll start with a polygon. And to draw a star or a polygon that's straight, drag up, while holding the control key. At any time, you can change your mind and convert a polygon to a star, by clicking the star button, then click on the shape, so you see this second control appear, and now you can click the button in the tool controls to revert to default settings for a star. You can drag the outer control, which sets the tip radius, making the points of the star more pointy, or blunt, and the inner control, which…
