- [Instructor] So now that we have a basic material in Substance Designer, let's go ahead and start authoring it. Now remember, we're going to be doing stucco for the side of the building. So for stucco, we need to find something that's kind of, well, something that looks like stucco, and I find that noises tend to be those things. So over here in the library, we have a bunch of different options here. And under generators, we have two categories, one is patterns, and some of these are very useful, such as bricks and fibers and so on, but we actually want noises because we're doing stucco. So I'm going to go ahead and select noises, and then my next task is to find something that looks like stucco. So all you have to do is browse through all of these until you find something. And right here, fractal sum base, that seems to look a lot like stucco. So I'm going to go ahead and left click and drag that into the graph.…
