In these cases, section views are used to slice through the part and reveal the internal geometry. In this video, we'll show you when a drawing might benefit from a section view, how to present them on the drawing sheet, and some tricks that will make section views even more useful. This flange has an internal profile that isn't visible in any of the external views.
