Direct Editing: Move Face

- The Move Face command allows me to quickly make changes to a part without going in and actually modifying the underlying features. Over here, you can see I've got some holes in the center of this part right here. I've got this chamfer here on the edge of the part, as well as the surface up here. Now, if you wanted to modify this part, you'd need to go in and make all of those adjustments, one by one, but instead I can use the Move Face command to modify all those features at one time. Quickly, let's go up here to Move Face. Click on the surfaces you would like to move around. So I'm going to choose this surface here, and then go ahead and just pull it up, or type in a value. So over here I can click on this value here, and I can move it up, and you can see what happens. It actually turns the file around into a different style of fob, 'cause moving this thing up, but that chamfer stays active.
