Eneloop rechargeable batteries

- Thanks to smartphones, we're all now pretty accustomed to managing the power in a rechargeable device. Now your camera also likely runs off of rechargeable batteries, but these days most SLRs, mirror-less and high-end point and shoot cameras use proprietary batteries. However, if you use an external flash or an audio recorder for shooting video, a microphone or a wireless flash transceiver, there are any number of photo accessories that need AA batteries to operate. Now you can do your wallet and the planet a favor by running these devices off of rechargeable batteries and these days I pretty much exclusively use Eneloop rechargeable batteries. Now the name Eneloop was originally coined by Sanyo, but Sanyo was bought by Panasonic in 2010, so you might still see some Eneloop batteries around that are branded Sanyo alongside Panasonic Eneloop batteries, they're the same thing.
