Erasing paths

- [Instructor] Let's take a look at how you can use Inkscape's eraser tool to remove entire objects from your drawings or just parts of objects. To get the eraser tool, you can choose it from the tool bar, or press the keyboard shortcut shift e. You use the eraser tool by clicking and dragging over objects in your drawing, and there are three modes that you can choose from up in the tools controls bar. The first one on the left will erase whole objects. The second one will cut out pieces from objects. And the third will clip the erased parts so you can restore them later and work nondestructively. For the last two modes, there's also a width setting to control how big an area is affected by the eraser tool. So, let's try out the three modes. First, we'll use the one that deletes whole objects. So I'll click on that. And then drag over a couple of the circles in the group on the left. And you can see that they're removed.…
