Exploded views in drawings
- [Instructor] Creating an exploded view inside of a SolidWorks drawing can be a very straightforward process. The first thing you need to remember is that you can create exploded views of both assemblies and part files. If you're working with a multi-body part file, it does give you the ability to create an exploded view in your configurations. Now, while this isn't a video on how to create an exploded view, we just want to show you how to put it inside of your drawing. But essentially, if you go to the configuration you have and say, "Add New Exploded View", you can walk through the steps to separate the parts and lay out your exploded view. The important part we want to cover right now is how to insert that view into your drawing once it's prepared. So now that we have our exploded view created, I'm going to click save.
