Exploring the Inkscape toolbox

- [Instructor] At this point, we've toured the Inkscape interface. Now let's take a closer look at one of the parts you'll be using quite often which is the toolbox. The toolbox contains a set of tools for creating, selecting and modifying objects. You can click on an icon once to select a tool and if there's not enough room on your screen to fit the whole toolbox you'll see an arrow at the bottom that you can click to access the remaining tools right here. You can double click on an icon to open that tool's preferences. For example, I can double click on the selector tool to open its preferences. I'll just leave them unchanged and close the dialogue. So what tools do we have here in the toolbox? From top to bottom we have a tool for selecting whole objects, a tool for selecting one or more nodes along a path, tools for drawing rectangles and squares, circles, ellipses and arcs, stars and polygons, 3D…
