Exposure bracketing

- Sometimes when you're shooting a tough scene like this one here. Where there's bright objects, dark objects. it's very difficult to show the full dynamic range. And you're really faced with two choices. One option is to capture a series of exposure brackets. Sometimes this is just done for safety and then you can pick the one that looks best. Other times, you might take those brackets and merge them together using desktop software. Something like Lightroom or Aurora HDR or Photomatix to blend the exposures together. And that's often referred to as HDR photography. Your camera also has a built in HDR mode likely, which we'll talk about next. Let me show you how exposure bracketing can work. You'll typically have a button that will bring up an exposure mode on your camera. In this case, if I press and hold it down, you'll see across the top a series here of choices.
