The Fresco pencil

- [Instructor] When you first launch Fresco, the pencil is the default brush selection, because it's a tool we're all familiar with. And the Fresco pencil behaves just like a real pencil. Let me show you what I mean. Now if I hold the pencil in such a way that it's about perpendicular to the screen, like so, then the lines that I draw are going to reflect this, because they're going to be more narrow. And using light pressure means I'm going to get a more faint line. And using heavy pressure means I'm going to get a darker line. And of course everything in between, which means I can move from a very faint line into a dark line, all in the same stroke. But this does nothing to increase the width of the stroke that I'm drawing, because just like a real pencil, in order to control the width, I have to draw with more of the graphite at the end, and to do this I would tilt my hand in such as way as to access more of that…
