- [Narrator] The Gutenberg plugin is where all block related development happens. Once features reach a certain level of maturity, they're then rolled into WordPress Core. For example, WordPress version 5.6, included Gutenberg versions 8.6 to 9.2. Depending on when you're watching this course, full site editing may or may not be included in WordPress Core. So, if full site editing hasn't made its way to Core yet, you'll need to use the Gutenberg plugin to try it out. If full site editing has landed in Core, then you won't need the Gutenberg plugin but certainly could leave it active if you wanted to stay on the bleeding edge of block editor development. Some key blocks needed for full site editing such as, the navigation block and the query block, not to mention global styles are already in advanced stages. So I'd expect to see those landing Core by versions 5.6 or 5.8, scheduled for release in March and in June of…
