Grouping objects

- [Instructor] Grouping objects together makes them easy to select and move or to modify all at once. It's also a useful way to organize complex artwork and it can help you keep objects in place in relation to one another. So let's look at grouping in Inkscape. To create a group, just select some objects and press control + g. I'll drag over these three and press control + g to make a group. You can also use the commands bar for grouping and ungrouping. If you want to see how many objects are in a group, select it and check out the status bar at the bottom of the window. So here I can see it. I have a group of three objects in layer one. To ungroup, press shift + control + g or control + u or right-click and choose ungroup. You can also right click and use the same menu to group objects. Now, if you want to select an object inside a group, first select the group, and then double-click to enter the group. And then…
