Layering materials in Alchemist
- [Instructor] Another way to create materials is to mix multiple materials together in substance Alchemist. So let's go ahead and create a blank material and start layering additional materials. So I'm going to go over to my create panel and let's go ahead and just do create new material, clear everything out. And then I have one here called brush concrete so I'm going to go into my base materials here, select brush concrete and drop it onto my viewport. Now, as you can see, we've got basic controls for the material itself, including color. I'm going to add just a light, light blue to this, just so we can see it when I mix it with another color. Now, this brush concrete again is just a layer, so if I wanted to, I could hide or show that layer. So let's go ahead and select another material and mix that with the first.
