Layers and properties

- [Instructor] Layers in Fresco, and their layer properties, give you power and flexibility when creating your art, so let's see them in action. If you're used to working in a digital art environment, then you're familiar with the concept of layers. But if not, layers allow you to put different elements of your art in their own separate space where they can be independently transformed or moved or even have their blending properties changed. This gives you a lot of power and flexibility. For example, if you look over here on the right, you're going to see four squares that are stacked on top of one another. This is actually called a layer stack. Each of these squares represents a separate layer. At the top we have a blue circle. Now in the artwork you can't tell that there are separate layers, it all just looks like a single illustration. But I can show it or hide it at any time by tapping on the little eyeball icon to the…
