Learn to edit and publish a web series

- [David] Creating a web series for yourself, your brand or your organization can be an enjoyable, creative outlet for getting your message out to the world on video with a professional look and feel. That said, it's a daunting process that requires a lot of skillsets and knowledge in order to pull it off. With this course, I'm here to encourage you and show you some methods and resources to make the process of editing and publishing your web series episodes more approachable. This course is the follow up or really the continuation of Jim Schofield's Web Video For Business Creating a Web Series. In that course, we discussed the steps, skills, and equipment needed to shoot a web series for an example business, Underground Sun Record Label, as well as some considerations on how to define a brand using video. If you haven't watched that course yet, I highly recommend doing that before watching this course. A web series has a more professional and produced look than a video blog, and to achieve that more polished look, you want to get familiar with some of the more pro-level production techniques that raise the bar of it. In this course, we'll start with defining the vision and structure for your episodes. discussing editing, color correction, audio mixing, and other finalizing techniques that bring your final product up to a higher level. We'll wrap the course by going over how to publish a finished episode, your masterpiece, to the internet. All right, let's get started. All right, let's get started.
