- Once again this week on the Practicing Photographer we're talking to photographer Elizabeth Greenberg. Elizabeth, you said something the other day that I kind of feel is familiar to me but I've never really codified it before. So I've spent a lot of time here recently talking about the importance of having a project to work on and how a project can help you focus and kind of help with the fact that the world is big and full of stuff and where do you start shooting? But you said the other day that mostly you don't really work on projects. Your entire lifetime as a photographer is a project. - You know, and I really do feel that way. I can after three decades of making pictures, or more, make connections back to the very first rolls of film I ever shot. And the fact that I was drawn to abandoned empty places, secret hiding places, things that held mystery, and that's still true of my work today. The threads of what I'm interested in and how I've seen the world have certainly developed…
